Tea & Cakes: Netherlands 🇳🇱
Visiting the Netherlands virtually proved enlightening although I’ve actually visited beyond the screen.
I had no idea the Dutch played the role of pioneer in bringing Tea to the World.
Tea is flavorful and very much a part of the current culture. The Dutch prefer tea outdoors and without milk. And, of course there’s a sweet treat. Do you know that Stroopwafels are placed on top of the tea cup to melt the syrup center? That’s genius!!!
Have you been to the Netherlands? I would love to hear about your experiences. I enjoyed the Nord Sea and The Hague.
I recommend seeing more than Amsterdam.
